Snyder Named Kat Boss

In a long-standing tradition, Kokomo High School promoted one of its own to lead one of the top athletic programs in the state. At Monday’s school board meeting, girls basketball coach Jason Snyder was named the new Wildkat athletic director. Snyder will take over the reigns of the department after Mike Wade accepted a position as the corporations Director of Human Resources and Operations.

“I greatly appreciate the support from our administrative staff,” said Snyder, who came to an agreement with the corporation to serve as AD and continue to lead the Lady Kat basketball program. “I look forward to getting to work with a great coaching staff and our outstanding student-athletes.

“As a past Kokomo High School student-athlete, I have been influenced greatly by past athletic directors and I look forward to maintaining what they have already set up while continuing with the state power athletic program Kokomo has.”
